Welcome to the Center for Student Wellness!

The Center for Student Wellness is made up of the Student Health Services, Counseling & Substance Abuse Services, and Health Education departments.

Research has found that healthy students perform better academically, conduct their relationships more effectively, and generally enjoy college more.  The mission of the Center for Student Wellness is to provide health education and prevention information, care, treatment, and support for the health and well-being of all students at the College of Charleston.

The Center for Student Wellness is located at 175 Calhoun Street in the Robert Scott Small Library building. Counseling & Substance Abuse Services and Health Education are located on the third floor. Please enter through the glass doors at the front of the building and walk up two (2) flights. Student Health Services is located on the second floor. Please enter through the rear entrance and come one level up.

Please see the individual department web pages for more information on services offered, hours of operation, and contact numbers.  Follow the links to see important announcements and lists of our sponsored activities that are coming up.  Links are also provided to numerous informative wellness–related resources.

Most of our services are free, and all are strictly confidential.  Our goal is to provide College of Charleston students with the highest form of healthcare services available.

Call or visit our offices to learn more about what we have to offer.
